Cosmetic dentistry is actually any restorative treatment that enhances one’s smile in a positive and aesthetically pleasing way. It can involve very complex full mouth rehabilitation or a small simple tooth colored filling on a chipped front tooth. Here at DENTAL ARTS, we like to strive for all of our restorative treatment to be cosmetic.
Composite “tooth colored” fillings
The resin material used to “bond” and fill teeth that can be used on front or back teeth.
Porcelain Veneers/Laminates
Thin, custom made porcelain restorations bonded to teeth to change color, size, shape and correct aesthetic appearance.
Bonding
Utilizes tooth colored filling material to replace missing tooth structure, change color or improve appearance.
Tooth Whitening
A process utilizing a “peroxide” based solution to brighten teeth. Several options are available including customized tray and gel systems or enhanced whitening strips. Often times whitening is used with other cosmetic treatments to maximize outcomes.
